The alternative health care industry is exploding. California alone has over 947,000 alternative health care businesses. Nationally, 10,000,000 businesses are serving the growing demand for alternative health care. 10,000,000! All of these businesses need to be able to connect with potential clients, but currently, there are only local and inadequate bridges between providers and clients. This underserved and growing market offers a unique opportunity for those dedicated to alternative health care to meet the needs of this industry with integrity.
The National Institute of Alternative Health Care (NIAHC) was founded in August of 2008 to meet the growing needs of the alternative health care industry. A resource for marketing and education, NIAHC is uniquely positioned to become the model destination for providers and consumers of alternative health care services.
With the launch of althealthconnect.com, NIAHC presents the first nationally coordinated site where providers and consumers of alternative health care services can connect in an intuitive and easily navigable website. Clients will be able to access one dedicated site to find the services, information, and providers they seek.
Over time, our marketing road map will allow us to move into all other market segments, including national business summits and annual educational conferences. Our marketing strategy will be based on targeting information to the right markets and penetrating those markets so our services are known and respected as the industry standard. Our promotional strategy will involve traditional advertising, internet marketing, direct mail, personal sales, newsletters, email contacts, a semi-annual magazine, business seminars, public relations campaigns, and strategic alliances with boards, schools and associations.
In short, we won't just launch a website to collect members and set up a database. Rather, we will provide customized business development and education that will enable health care providers to best meet their goals and objectives. The National Institute of Alternative Health Care will be the go to place for anyone seeking alternative health care information and providers. To accomplish this mission, we will require additional funding from outside investors.
